The explanation is simple: Earth currently is under UFO occupation! Of course, by being occupied, exploited, and oppressed by technologically higher advanced (although morally decadent) space beings, we are not allowed to even know that these space beings do exist. This is the reason why we are not allowed to develop our knowledge of UFOs, and why all research on UFOs are not progressing.
